Promotional graphics for a sungrown cannabis pioneer.

Flow Kana (now FK+) was the first sustainable, sun-grown cannabis brand to build a centralized supply network for independent craft farms.
By partnering with small family farms, Flow Kana provided processing, testing, and distribution support to help craft growers compete in California’s commercial market.
My work encompassed social media assets, event branding, collateral, and large-scale festival activations.

COLLATERAL
Honoring the Emerald Cup’s finest herb.
At the 2018 Emerald Cup, three of Flow Kana’s partner farms took home best-of-category awards, while three others received Regenerative Farm awards for sustainable agricultural practices.
To mark the win, Flow Kana released a limited series of award-winning strains. I created a set of promotional mini-posters for retail giveaways and social channels, blending line-art farm logos with imagery reflecting each strain's terpene profile.

EVENT BRANDING
A Grand Opening gala in the heart of weed country.
Located at the former Fetzer Winery property in Mendocino, the Flow Cannabis Institute was built as an integrated processing campus. For its “Land of Possibilities” launch event, I created the event logo, invitations, posters, collateral, and event web landing pages.

SOCIAL MEDIA
We must be over the rainbow!
For a Halloween campaign celebrating Northern California's Emerald Triangle, I developed a social media suite referencing The Wizard of Oz—complete with Yellow Brick Road visuals, flying monkeys, and a subtle nod to the Dark Side of the Moon / Wizard of Oz urban legend.

EVENT ACTIVATION
Build-a-Bong Workshop
Outside Lands is San Francisco’s flagship music festival in Golden Gate Park. In 2018, the festival introduced "Grass Lands"—a dedicated area focused on cannabis education and culture.
Flow Kana presented the “Farm to Bong” booth, inviting attendees to carve functional bongs from fresh organic produce. Entries were judged daily by a guest panel. I designed the branding and event graphics for the activation, which was later adapted for other California festivals.
