Branding and apparel graphics for America’s premier jam band.

Phish Dry Goods
My favorite band in college became my first freelance client.
Vermont’s own Phish has toured since 1983, blending progressive rock, funk, jazz, and irreverent humor. For over two decades, I’ve collaborated with the band, their management, and Phish Dry Goods on logos, apparel, and tour merchandise.
BRAND IDENTITY
Doing good is its own reward.
While Phish is famous for live improvisation, community advocacy is central to their mission. The Waterwheel Foundation coordinates the band’s charitable efforts, raising funds for local non-profits at every tour stop. I designed two primary Waterwheel marks used across merchandise, with proceeds supporting environmental initiatives such as the Lake Champlain watershed cleanup.
Following his recovery from addiction, frontman Trey Anastasio founded the Divided Sky Foundation. In 2020, I worked with Trey’s team to establish the brand identity for the Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program in Ludlow, Vermont—a non-profit facility focused on emotional sobriety and recovery support.
APPAREL DESIGN & ILLUSTRATION
We gotta get on the road.
Working with Phish Dry Goods offers continuous room for creative experimentation—from Madison Square Garden New Year’s runs to the Festival 8 Halloween event at Coachella. The designs frequently feature esoteric song references, fan lore, and band iconography.
