As youth sports programs have expanded, brand presentation has become an important factor for clubs communicating their values to prospective families. I have worked with athletic programs focused on player development, skill-building, and positive team culture to create distinctive visual identities.
FIVE TOOL BASEBALL
A logo that covers all of the bases.
In baseball, a five-tool player excels at hitting for power, hitting for average, throwing, fielding, and running the bases. While most of the kids on this Oakland, CA 10U travel ball team didn’t quite check all of those boxes, they did hit the field with a very cool logo on their caps.
BAY AREA BALLPLAYERS
A comprehensive training center for future stars.
Established in 2019 in Moraga, CA, Bay Area Ballplayers expanded from a baseball training facility into a multi-sport athletic complex. I worked with founder Steve Hammond to build a flexible brand identity suitable for facility signage, training apparel, and club uniforms.
ATHENIAN SCHOOL
A logo sprint for Athenian’s athletic program.
When the Athenian School in Danville, CA needed a unified athletic mark ahead of a field renovation project, I was brought in on an expedited timeline to design a custom identity.
I developed an owl emblem featuring custom "OWLS" typography integrated directly into the wing geometry, paired with lettering inspired by classical Greek inscriptions. The completed mark was delivered for field application and is currently used across Athenian's athletic facilities, uniforms, and apparel.
ROAR F.C.
A military-grade identity for a San Francisco soccer club.
ROAR F.C. is a competitive youth soccer club based in San Francisco’s Presidio—a historic military post near the Golden Gate Bridge. The emblem takes visual cues from military heraldry and the Spanish Colonial architecture of the Presidio grounds, configured as a crest for simple application on jerseys and gear.
